Are certified firms more prone to eco-product innovation? The moderating role of slack resources

Sustainability is becoming essential for virtually every organization willing to thrive in a globalized world. Nonetheless, the available resources address challenges required switch towards sustainability-oriented firms are scarce and yet necessary deploy. Thus, this study focuses on adoption of ISO 9000, 14000 OHSAS 18001 families standards as managerial practices that can help promoting eco-product innovation, considering slack moderator relationship. Relying sample composed 2834 studied between years 2007 2020 obtained from Refinitiv® Eikon database, results suggest holding these certifications more prone innovation.
